Ride the Horse

One thing we haven’t had the chance to do this summer is to go to Tagaytay to ride the horses. It is one activity my children look forward to at least once a year. Yes, we’ve been to Tagaytay but we didn’t have the chance to do recreational activities.

I just hope that the horses have new saddle pads this year for added comfort to the riders. I don’t know if they do change it yearly but hopefully they “retired” the ones we used last year.

So What’s New?

Since I’ve been busy at home lately (well, for months now), I’ve been out of the loop on what’s in and out, especially in fashion. Now that Ayex is done with her extra-curricular activities, I’m hoping that our family can spend more time bonding, even if just by strolling in the mall.

Knowing the latest in street wear will prepare me for what to see outside (and not shock me as to what other people are wearing) as well as give me a little more reason to fix myself up and the kids. I mean, even though it’s just the mall, we can make it seem like a treat, right?

Keeping In Touch

Since my sister has been working in another country for a couple of months now, my family and I have been relying on web based video conferencing to keep in touch. Being able to talk online has really helped all of us especially during the first few weeks because it was a big change for all of us.

I’m really thankful for technology these days. If not for being able to regularly communicate through an inexpensive way (compared to long distance phone calls) we all wouldn’t be able to cope as well as we have.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
