Mommy Bloggers Hot Ideas #2

This post has been sitting in my drafts for weeks now. Bad, bad, bad. And mind you, this is a very important post for I will be sharing with you what other mommy bloggers, like me, shared with their readers.

A few weeks ago, I posted something about Preventing Dengue Fever. I listed several tips, which you can also follow to prevent those pesky mosquitoes from multiplying in your home. And as if Mommy Pehpot was reading my mind. She wrote about rainy days checklist. Her checklist includes things you can use to prevent our children from getting sick this rainy season and even things you should prepare so you are ready when calamities strike. Check it out, you might find something that is not in your list yet.

Mommy Levy and Mommy Jem looked like they talk about what they shared with their readers, but actually, they did not. None of us talked about what we will write. And yet, their posts are related. Brilliant right? Mommy Levy shared with us her homeschooling lesson plan. I definitely agree with her that one of the pros of homeschooling is that you can customize the lessons you will teach your children, according to their strengths and weaknesses. The way she taught reading, language and writing to her son is very interesting. I, myself, found helpful tips on how I will go about homeschooling when it is already time for Maxyn. Whether you are planning to home-school your kids or not, check out her post and you might pick a tip or two. And then, Mommy Jem shared with us how we can make study time fun and not boring. Our little ones, just like us adults, are all different and unique. This is also true for study habits. Some will work for others and some will not. But if we make studying fun, things will be a lot easier for us and for our kids. Check out her post and see which ones you think can apply to your child.

With all the roles we, moms, have to attend to, there will really be times when we feel like losing our sanity. Mommy Sammy reminded us that there are ways not to become insane. My favorite is forgive yourself. There are just times when I become too hard on myself that I end up wasting energy on things that should not matter much. Are you losing your sanity often lately? Check out her post and remind yourself how you will keep your sanity intact.

Why We Need Vitamin Supplements?

How are you doing ladies and gents?

July was a very very god month for me and my family, except for the unfortunate event that we went through a couple of weeks ago. But as I mentioned, I am moving on. I know Ninang is now very happy where she is. And what do you know, we only have five months left and it is Christmas time again!

My life has been pretty hectic since last weekend. I spent a whole day with my mommy friends last Saturday. We indulged ourselves with authentic Chinese food in Binondo, shopped, and talked almost non-stop. By Sunday, I spent quality time with my girls while the hubby played airsoft. I looked after the two girls while they tire themselves in this playplace at a nearby mall. We were there for three hours. Of course, I got tired too because I was the one chasing Maxyn wherever she goes. Come Monday, classes were suspended due to heavy rains from Sunday evening. I and another mom from Alex’s school took that chance to buy the things we will be using for the family day this Saturday. Then yesterday and today, we practiced the dance we will present for the family day as well. Yes, this momma danced again! Woot woot!

I am toxic. I am tired. But I still have my girls and hubby to attend to after a tiring day and I cannot simply ignore them. This is where women’s vitamins come into action. Vitamin supplements give us the extra energy we need. When we are lost, certain vitamins can help us find our balance again. When we are stressed out, we can take supplements that will help us relax and prevent hormonal imbalances. Aside from these, taking vitamins prevents us from getting sick, therefore allowing ourselves be on top of everything that we do.

So if you are not taking vitamins now, you now know what to do.

Moving On

bArkada picture

The picture above is our college group picture, taken as part of our college graduation picture.

The recent events pulled us together again, though one of us, Gretel, could not make it for she is abroad. There was so much to talk about when we saw each other during Ninang Eve’s wake. For one, Aika, whom we have not seen for a year already owe us a lot of stories.

But our current lives took a back seat for a while. We did not talk much about our current whereabouts. Instead, we sort of remembered our college days. The days when we will stay in Aimee’s place and Ninang Eve will take care of all our needs so we can concentrate on whatever project we have at hand. There are those nights when we cannot start with our writing projects because we keep on telling stories to each other and we will resort with http://www.studymode.com/ for ideas. We remembered how Ninang Eve prepare so much food for us, from dinner, to midnight snacks, to breakfast, and sometimes even to lunch. She is also there when we have small gatherings and drinking sessions. Another college friend, Moe, was also at the wake and I remembered the time when we hit a car behind us. Yana was the one driving and we were on our way to Aimee’s place. Before we left Yana’s place, I kid about her outfit for she was in her pyjamas already. I told her Ganyan ka na magdadrive? Eh pano kung mabangga tayo? And what I said sort of happen. We hit a car behind us. Our car rolled back a little and hit the bumper of the car behind us. And yes, Yana talked to police officers in her pyjamas! Good thing, Moe’s mom works in the traffic enforcing agency, we were able to fix things right away.

Our college days will always bring memories of Ninang Eve. But I trust in God’s decision, his is the best. And so, I am moving on now. Sleep-overs at Aimee’s place will never be the same again, but we will keep on doing that and I know, Ninang Eve will be very happy with that.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
