Someone Got an Early Christmas Present

When we go to my mom’s place in the south, we go to Festival Mall, Alabang, most of the time. This is because of the train ride the kids frequent, plus, SM Southmall is kind of boring already. One time that we were at Festival Mall, I got the chance to finally try Famous Belgian Waffle. We always sniff the smell of their waffles when we pass by but this store is always packed and we do not like to wait very long.

Their waffles are ok for the price that you pay. For me, it is a good and healthy snack alternative than going to popular fast food chains.

I think this is where my desire to make home-made waffles started. My kids love pancakes to bits but I like the cuteness of waffles. So whenever we go to the mall, we check out the appliance section for a waffle maker. I know a square version of it is available locally at an affordable price. Sadly, each visit left me empty handed. I wanted it so badly that I posted a shout out on my Facebook account.

Then a high-school friend told me that if I could wait, I will have my very own waffle maker in two weeks time courtesy of her and her family. That conversation happened mid of June.

Bella Rotating Waffle Maker

Yesterday, someone got a new toy! Look at my smile, can you tell that I am so excited? Thank you, Prudente-Arellano family! Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of friends!

Domain Clean-up

When I started blogging, I did not know it was called as such. I even thought it was plugging, as in you go to radio/television stations and announce what you have to for people to hear. While the concept is somewhat similar, blogging for me, started as a personal space online. And what do you know, I learned that blogging can make some money and that there are so much more to it than just writing.

And so from being an emotional blogger, I started to make posts which I think and feel others may be able to relate with. Thus, I purchased more domains and tried to create various niche. I did not even notice I already have seven domains! And you are right, not all those domains are inactive. For maybe a couple of years, I have been keeping them in the hopes of being able to fix and write for them. But as with this site, I go on a hiatus every now and then.

While I still want to give my domains another try, I have decided that it is time to let go and start cleaning up and REALLY catch up with the ones I will keep. Wish me luck!

Back to Basics

halo engagement rings Although cushion cut diamonds have experienced a swell in popularity among celebrities and common buyers alike, deBebians cushion cut halo engagement rings are a part of an old tradition. At the turn of the 20th century, jewelers designed the cushion cut so that rings would look its best by candlelight without revealing its flaws. Once the age of electricity arrived, the diamond cut fell out of favor. Under the glare of bright light, the stones women wore were not as impressive. The technology did not exist to get a clean cut. The revival of the cushion cut has probably been led by many celebrities who have chosen this style for their weddings. The flat face on the bottom of a cushion-cut gemstone is open and the stone itself is a rectangular or square shape. The corners are round and the facets are cut to give the stone its most brilliant luster. It has to compete with some other modern cuts that seem more brilliant, but many people who love this cut choose it because it is classic and romantic. Its qualities make it a timeless cut, in many ways. One of the distinctions that can be made between the antique cushion-cut gems and modern cushion cuts is in the faceting. The modern cuts may have three-dimensional concave facets or the popular Portuguese-cut facets that look like checkerboards. Some of the most famous diamonds the world knows of are cushion-cut. These include the blue Hope Diamond, yellow Tiffany Diamond, the Regent Diamond and the Smithsonian’s 423 ct. Logan Sapphire.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
