Why We Love Swish Mangosteen Mint

And Celeteque, and Myra E, and Ceelin, and Enervon, and Biogesic and PH Care and I can keep on listing all the UNILAB products that we love. But the reason why we love these products will remain the same.

1. We have proven the effectivity and safety of these products.

2. These products are accessible, meaning they are available practically anywhere.

3. These products do not make a hole out of our pockets. Yes, they are affordable.

So let me go back to the title of my post. I have told you why we love the other products from UNILAB. Now, let me tell you why we love Swish Mouthwash, the Mangosteen Mint variant in particular.

Ever had that fishy feeling in your mouth even after brushing? I do, specially when I eat seafood or something garlicky. Brushing alone just won’t remove the after taste of food. Gargling with Swish does! No joke. Try it and you will experience what I mean.

swish mangosteen mint My two girls also love this variant because of the fruity-minty taste. They even thought that the flavor is that of the fruit from the high mountains. 😀 We let them gargle with Swish under supervision.

I also like that it does not give that ouchy feeling on the tongue during gargling. Alam mo yung parang napaso ang dila mo ng mainit na food? Walang ganun with Swish. Alcohol-free kasi siya.

Swish is powered by SureFresh Technology, which means it does not just cover up bad breath, it kills bad bacteria, prevents plaque and gingivitis and gives us long-lasting fresh breath. Bye-bye fishy taste!

You too can try this awesome product to see if what you just read are true. Just go to the nearest supermarket, drugstore or convenience store and you will be able to buy one. The SRP of this product is as follows, so you know how much to bring.

35 mL – P35
60 mL – P46.75
120 mL – P75
250 mL – P137.50

The one in my photo is the 250 mL packaging. Happy Swishing!

Mommy Bloggers Hot Ideas #2

This post has been sitting in my drafts for weeks now. Bad, bad, bad. And mind you, this is a very important post for I will be sharing with you what other mommy bloggers, like me, shared with their readers.

A few weeks ago, I posted something about Preventing Dengue Fever. I listed several tips, which you can also follow to prevent those pesky mosquitoes from multiplying in your home. And as if Mommy Pehpot was reading my mind. She wrote about rainy days checklist. Her checklist includes things you can use to prevent our children from getting sick this rainy season and even things you should prepare so you are ready when calamities strike. Check it out, you might find something that is not in your list yet.

Mommy Levy and Mommy Jem looked like they talk about what they shared with their readers, but actually, they did not. None of us talked about what we will write. And yet, their posts are related. Brilliant right? Mommy Levy shared with us her homeschooling lesson plan. I definitely agree with her that one of the pros of homeschooling is that you can customize the lessons you will teach your children, according to their strengths and weaknesses. The way she taught reading, language and writing to her son is very interesting. I, myself, found helpful tips on how I will go about homeschooling when it is already time for Maxyn. Whether you are planning to home-school your kids or not, check out her post and you might pick a tip or two. And then, Mommy Jem shared with us how we can make study time fun and not boring. Our little ones, just like us adults, are all different and unique. This is also true for study habits. Some will work for others and some will not. But if we make studying fun, things will be a lot easier for us and for our kids. Check out her post and see which ones you think can apply to your child.

With all the roles we, moms, have to attend to, there will really be times when we feel like losing our sanity. Mommy Sammy reminded us that there are ways not to become insane. My favorite is forgive yourself. There are just times when I become too hard on myself that I end up wasting energy on things that should not matter much. Are you losing your sanity often lately? Check out her post and remind yourself how you will keep your sanity intact.

Preventing Dengue Fever

My eldest was diagnosed with Stage 1 Dengue Fever last May. All along I thought we are immune for this kind of sickness but when my daughter was hospitalized, I realized that nobody is. Everyone is a delicious target of dengue-carrying mosquitoes. After that incident, I make sure none in my family will ever again be hospitalized due to Dengue Fever,

prevent dengueHere is what we do.

  1. Keep our surroundings clean. No stagnant water should ever be found in the house and near us.
  2. No more hanging or wet clothes in the bathroom. I noticed that when I remove hanged clothes in the bathroom, a mosquito or two will fly around. They like hiding in these stuff so we removed them already.
  3. Spray the whole house with mosquito killer once every week, when the kids are not around. We do this when all of us are going out so we will not smell the odor of the mosquito spray.
  4. Regular fumigation was also organized by the village association.
  5. Kids cannot go out without applying mosquito repellent. Also, they only go out in their pyjamas, no shorts when playing outside.
  6. I give them vitamins regularly to boost their immune system.

Don’t let you or one of your love ones become a victim of these dengue-carrying mosquitoes.
