Who is FuBear?

Created in the likeness of the Formosan black bear, FuBear is a character resembling Taiwan’s national animal. The brand innovatively fabricates vegan leather goods out of water hyacinth plants from the Philippines. As found in the Jacinto & Lirio website, the water hyacinth is an invasive plant that affects local flora and fauna and even majorly contributes to flooding in local communities.
