Personally, I do not want to believe much in fare sales anymore because gone are the days when one can really book dirt cheap flights. I know a person who was able to book for a round trip ticket to Boracay by just paying PhP180 or so. Now, even if you chance upon the lowest fare sale, you will still end up paying much much more due to the other fees likes taxes, surcharge, and other fees you will probably not bother to ask what the heck they are.

I agree with you. I sometimes see people who complain about these promo fares in the news. I don’t think it’s worth it if there’s a lot of hassle.
