Last month, my paternal grandmother passed away. The 40th-day of her death is either today or yesterday (depending on how the family started the count). It’s customary here in our country that the family sort of commemorates the 40th day of death.
Since we’re still at the hospital and have no way of going home to our province to be with the family, I’m glad I have found a site forpersonalized gifts to show your sympathy. If we are still not able to come home soon, I’m sure I can purchase a card online and have it sent to the province directly. I’m sure they will appreciate that even if we’re not with them physically, we still remember and pray for the eternal repose of my Lola’s soul on her 40th day.
this post of you, reminded me of my lola 🙁 hope our grandmother’s are in good state wherever they are now…
You must really love your grandma so much… I felt blessed that i still have my grandma, i’m still afraid of the fact that sooner or later God will decide to get her from us, I love her i’m just a bit not showy…
