Are You Ready for Valentines?

Five days to go and it is Valentines. Restaurants will surely be fully booked with those advanced bookings and some will have to wait in line since they did not make any reservations. Chocolate sales will surely skyrocket as this is one of the most common gift given and received during the love day. Oh, add stuff toys like teddy bear to that. Other that these, many opt for flowers.

As Valentine’s day comes nearer, the prices of flowers go higher and higher each day. This is the reason why some people order them in advance and just pick them up on the day. For people who are not locally available, those who work abroad or even in a distant place in the country, they opt for flower deliveries. My friend overseas contacted Tampa flower delivery and sent a gorgeous bouquet of white and red roses to his girlfriend here. Sweet right?

While I find that sweet, I’d rather receive chocolates or something that I can keep forever like a jewelry. I am not just a flower person. But my heart melted when he gave me a long-stemmed red rose in this parenting event we attended last year. The gesture in a public place sent tears to my eyes!
