Learning the Hard Way

Recently, I had so many boo boos due to my carelessness. There were petty fights that resulted to it and now, I hassled people. It does not feel good, I am telling you. Maybe this is a subtle way of telling me that I should start reading again to practice my comprehension skills.

~~~
If there is one thing I would like to inherit from my father, that would be his ability to SAY NO without feeling guilty afterwards. He is so good with it. At least that is how he appears to me.
I really find it hard to decline at something without feeling bad afterwards. If I do not feel guilty, I feel really sad. The only time I feel ok after declining something is when I turn down those who kept on offering credit cards and various flyers of houses and whatnots.
I should learn this skill quick because oftentimes, it leads me to doing things I do not really want to do thus making me careless and the cycle goes on and on.
    In the moments when you can’t say NO, try to imagine yourself in an hour when you will bitterly regret that said, YES, perhaps yourself and your nerves
    I was like that before sis, I do not have the capacity to say NO specially to those people some are even relatives who will borrow the money, but in the end when I am asking for their long over due payment…they will be angry and will even gossip others that I am mean….
    since that happened to me I learned to say NO. Duh with their dramas specially those who are not really close to us…..
    Dont worry sis, life is a learning process….learn to love yourself first sis…at the end of the day you will find out that they may not be of help to you in the long run
    haba may pinanggagalingan hehehhe
    Sometimes I do have that problem too… of finding it difficult to say no to people. Maybe it’s just our nature to not want to hurt others’ feelings. That’s how sensitive we are, probably 🙂
    Life is tough. We have to learn lessons the hard way. Maybe that’s the most effective way of ramming life lessons down our throats.
