Buttered Baby Potatoes with Crispy Bacon

Buttered Baby Potatoes with Crispy Bacon
This is one potato recipe that is both easy to prepare and always a winner in our house hold. We can eat it as it is and nothing else.

What you need:

  • 2 packs of Baby Potatoes (that’s how we buy it from the grocery)
  • 1/4 butter
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 7 bacon strips cut into tiny yet visible pieces

How to do this recipe:

Boil the potatoes with skin until they’re almost cooked. Use a fork to occasionally check the potatoes if they’re already easily breakable. Make sure not to over cook. Once cooked, drain the water.

Heat a separate pan and melt there the butter. Once the butter has melted, cook the bacon until crispy. Add the garlic. Once the garlic is cooked, put the baby potatoes. Mix well to make sure each potato is covered with butter.

Serve at once.

PS: Pardon some of the terms. I know I should improve in my cooking language.

I absolutely love potatoes whichever way it’s cooked. I’ll try your recipe since it’s easy. This can also be eaten for merienda.

Looks yummy! Idol ko talaga yung blog nyo ni Mrs. Kolca when it comes to recipes.

Actually, yung sister-in-law ko dealer ng Baguio veggies and last week, nakita ko ang dami nilang baby potatoes (they call it marble potatoes here).

    Lots of love,
