For this week’s edition of , I will be sharing with you my latest completed project.
A few months back, we had this training about a certain search engine. Being a person who analyzes our support portal activities, I had no choice but to accept the last minute invitation to that training even if it was against my will. The reason behind is that, there will be a discussion of requirements for its future implementation as our company’s search engine. I was soooo not into it. One, because it is not originally part of my week’s activity. Two, because of that, all my other activities were being pushed back. And three, the discussion was too technical, my nose bled most of the time.
To compensate for the boredom, me and my teammates were chatting using a notebook since we don’t really want to interrupt the whole presentation with our whispers. Other than that, I kept on tinkering my Motorola RAZR maxx V6 phone. With that tinkering comes clumsiness. My phone fell off from my pocket to the floor three times in one day. I thought it was ok since it experienced more than that in Ayex’s hands. You know when little kids hold something like your mobile phone and suddenly thinks what will happen if they throw it? Yeah, it happened a lot before and still my phone is ok.
Not until a few weeks later. When people call me, I could not hear them but they said they can hear me clearly. I thought it is because of my network provider. You know those times when your text messages or calls can’t get through because of a jammed network? Then one time, I tried calling hubby with my phone’s speaker on, my call was successfully connected and I can hear him loud and clear. Then it occurred to me that it could have been damaged weeks ago already, back from the training days and I didn’t know.
I did my best to stick with it because getting a new one is not part of this year’s budget. Then hubby offered me his good old Sony Ericsson K750i. This phone is an old model but with really nice features. I took the offer and decided to just revamp its look. It took us two days to have its covers changed. The repair guy couldn’t get it on the first try and it was 9:30PM, Ayex is already looking for us. Hubby had to bring it back the next day and I’m so happy everything went fine. I now have a new looking phone.
After the face-lift, this is how she looks like now.

Actually, love nga ata talaga ng kids this generation ang cellphones. Naging alternative toy na nila.
My motorola actually survived Ayex. Ako lang ang nakasira. π
Mrs. Kolca says
in fairness, gumanda ang look ng fone mo. i'm thinking of gmask for baby also π
kakatuwa ang comment ni sis golden.. ang baby ko den, nilalaro ang fone ko.. she would bring to the darker side of the room and use it as flashlight.. hehe!

Haha! Naalala ko tuloy si Jam. Pareho sila ni Ayex. Favorite toy ni Jam ang cellphone ko. Grabe, lagi nya talaga hinahagis yun kasi dun sya natutuwa. Buti na lang matino pa rin phone ko.

Sometimes a facelift
is just the right thing to give
your phone a new ring.
