Chedeng, Please Go Away NOW

I just read in http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/ that PAG-ASA has upgraded Chedeng (international codename Songda) into a typhoon in their 11 AM press conference today. Chedeng has maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and is currently situated at 350 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar.

My mom is currently residing in Lawaan, Eastern Samar. While she said they are far from where Chedeng is now, we cannot stop ourselves from worrying.

Also, we have a company outing this weekend at Montemar, Bataan. This is my last outing with this company and teammates so I really joined even if it means leaving the girls at home for 1.5 days. It is the first time in three or four years that we are having an overnight outing due to recession. I am quite excited for this outing but I am worried that Chedeng might ruin things. I have made a list of things a will be bringing and even checked out some sterling silver pandora for my accessories.

I really hope Chedeng will not change her course and exit Philippines’ area of responsibility the soonest.

Final Week

In less than a week, I will be saying goodbye to my workplace where I worked for the past six years. I got very little time with me but I still have so many things to accomplish. I have not transferred my current tasks to Neil, who will fill in my post. I have not printed my clearance to have it signed by various people. I still have some pending tasks I want to do. Again, so much to do, so little time. I think stress is slowly creeping in my body because I noticed I have started to develop breakouts. I have not had this for so long because I am not really acne-prone despite having oily skin. May I should get nanocleanse when I am through with all these stuff.

Look at the dark marks the pimples left, they look ugly right?

Lunch at the Hospital

So I work in a building that is beside a hospital called The Medical City. Compared to our former location, this area kind of lacks food establishments where you can get food. The choices are very limited. We have a Manang who used to solely supply lunch to our company and neighbors but I feel that her food is too commercialized and over-priced. The company added another supplier but this month’s vendor is always late. We eat at around 11:30AM. There are a handful of other choices in the vicinity but most are not within a regular employees budget.

So we tried the hospital’s food court today. There was not much of a choice either but we were able to get some decent food. I was expecting to see a lot of people in nurses uniforms flocking the food court but there was just a few. I guess they got tired of the choices in their food court already.
