Home Investments

Nope, we haven’t invested for our own house if that’s what you are thinking. We don’t have sufficient funds yet but it’s in the works. On the contrary, I’m pertaining to home furniture, if these are classified as such. Hehehe.

These have been sitting in my photo album for more than a week now due to laziness. These are the latest addition to our home stuff – most of which came as wedding presents. I’m just glad I looked into those electric roisterer, we were introduced to a bargain deal – a real bargain deal!

This is the main reason why we went to the mall despite of the A H1N1 scare. We badly need to replace the old stove because its burner already cracked and might pose danger if we continue using it. The brand is HYUNDAI and the stove looks like and industrial stove. Pretty neat-looking, too!

This is an LG 21L microwave oven. I was looking at an electric roisterer when hubby asked me if I’m still interested in other items. I said no. He then asked if I want to check on their microwave ovens. The saleslady, after hearing that said that they have a current promo. From PhP4500, the microwave is down to PhP2000. That is more than 50% off the tag! If not for that, I wouldn’t have convinced myself to get one. Now, reheating food at home is breeze.

Next investment, probably a new sala set. We need to replace the current one soon!

Firefox Tutorial: Sorting your bookmarks

I am a Firefox fan. I love using it for so many reasons which includes the tabbing, plug-ins, personas, and most of all for having less error messages. I love using tabs because I hate having to many opened windows on my task bar. This is why I primarily switched to Firefox.

When I moved to Firefox, I only use IE for my work stuff and had to import all my bookmarks from IE to Firefox. Since then, I have added more bookmarks through Firefox.

The other day, I needed to visit a site whose URL I don’t memorize. So I clicked on my Bookmarks. Because I already have a long list, it took me a while to find what I needed. OC-ness attacked me. I felt the need to sort my Bookmarks right then and there. I cannot move on to what I was supposed to do.

So I tried sorting my Bookmarks in Firefox the way I do it in IE. Unlike IE where sorting Favorites is a breeze (go to your Favorites, right-click on any of your list and select Sort By Name), Firefox way is a bit different. The Sort By Name option does not come out when you right-click on your Bookmarks. Realizing the difference, I had to consult my another best friend, Google.

Good thing I know how to use keywords. Searching was fast and I got very relevant results from which I found the following steps.

Sorting your Bookmarks alphabetically in Firefox

  1. On your Firefox browser, go to View menu.
  2. From View menu, go to Sidebar > Bookmarks.
  3. Look for the folder that contains the bookmarks you want to sort.
  4. Right-click on that folder and select Sort By Name.
  5. Go to your Bookmarks menu and check the folder you just sorted.

Note: Only the bookmarks in the folder that you selected will be affected by the sorting. Should you want to sort all other bookmarks in other folders, you have to repeat steps 1-4.

There, I will no longer have a hard time looking for my bookmarks now that they are sorted. I hope you find this helpful if you’re a newbie like me on Firefox.
