Letting out these LHC

Left-Hand Column or LHC are your feelings and your thoughts that you do not share to others. Say you have this discussion, somehow, you are not comfortable with the decision that your group arrived at but you are not telling anyone, instead, you are keeping your thoughts to yourself.

I have so many of these and I think some of them starts to bother me already. I don’t know how to say them and I’m afraid people might be offended or something so let me just write these LHC.

I used to think that I have graduated from the time when everything that people say about me matters. I thought I don’t care anymore if people say good and bad things about me as long as I don’t hear them. I’m comfortable with that. I thought I can be used to the idea that people I love and care could back-stab me and I won’t care at all. However, I think there were recent events when I felt unsure of these things. I felt that people were letting me down. Emo much? It just felt sad but I know, like previous times, I will move on and gain back the confidence I somehow lost.

I hate drivers who do not use the signal lights specially those driving private vehicles. On the other hand, I totally appreciate those public utility vehicle drivers who use the signal lights because most of them don’t.

I agree that all conversations are like bank transactions, you either withdraw from your account or make a deposit. It’s a matter of delivering your message. Oh and don’t think that by being passive, meaning you just shut up and say nothing at all, you’re making a deposit all the time. I know I am an assertive person. I have developed that. Why am I being passive these days. I cannot let people say those things to me all the time.

When I grow old, I will learn how to control money, not the control-freak way. I really pray I can. I should be very very very financially stable by then.

I totally think that life will never be unfair. It just sad that sometimes, it unfolds right in your face and you can’t do anything about it.

Disney On Ice: Disneyland Adventure Poster
After a long wait, their picture is now here and ready to be posted!

Yeah, after reminding hubby for a few times, he got tired and came home with the tickets in his hands one night. I was so excited that I forgot to take their picture until this morning. My heart skipped a bit when I got the used Sarah Geronimo: Record Breaker tickets, instead. I thought I lost our passport to the Disneyland Adventure! angel smileys

We haven’t really explained to Ayex that we’ll see them live. I don’t know how but I’m sure, she’ll appreciate it once she sees them big and alive. This is actually our 3rd birthday present for her.

Disney On Ice: Disneyland Adventure Patron Tickets

We’re set to see the Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and the rest of Disney characters live on January 3, 2010 at 2PM. We’ll be seating in the Patron section. The sales person advised hubby not to be seated very near so that Ayex will not be shocked when the characters play tricks on their audience.

And then just last weekend while on our way back here at QC, Ayex pointed to one of their posters found in GMA-Kamuning area. She said something like Si Mickey oh!. I really feel that this is very timing. I hope I’m not wrong.

Collectible Contour Glasses from McDonalds’s

As I write this post, I’m currently munching on burger and fries, which I was forced to buy for me to get a 2nd Christmas glass. Jumping Smileys

Actually we already have 5 at home: 2 charcoal, 2 purple and 1 pink. Honestly, I’m not even sure about the colors. So there are 5 adults in our household. It should be complete already, but what if a visitor pops up? So hubby said we should get another one. But that will not complete the 6 colors McDonald’s have (Pink, Green, Blue, Lime, Charcoal and Purple). Is it becoming complicated?

Collectible Contour Glasses Available At McDonalds'sLost? Here are the glasses I’m talking about. I’m giddy right now because I was able to get these two bottles when I only intend to get one. I can’t resist! Can you resist them? This is the first time I was so into collectibles. Hahaha!

I originally planned oh phoning McDonald’s Eastwood first to check if they have these glasses already because yesterday, they ran out of stocks. And you guess it right, I don’t want to waste my time going there as I could get snacks somewhere else. But I can’t find their number online. I was thinking, if the glasses are not yet available, I’ll just go somewhere else. But I’m lucky! Their supplies just came in and all colors are still available! scuba diving

Originally, I just ordered chicken nuggets meal and thought of getting the blue glass. But when I looked at the glasses again, I was so tempted so I ended up getting two meals. Good thing hubby will be here to eat them for me.

Next week, I shall get that lime glass. Am I crazy?
