I love cooking for my family. Whenever I see their satisfied faces after eating my recipes, I feel so happy and proud of myself. Since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I want it to look really clean, tidy, and very conducive to cooking. I also want to buy all the kitchen equipment that I need. But I have to save first since a lot of them are pricey and my kitchen has limited space. I have a 24 inch kidney lazy susan which perfectly aligns with the corner of my cabinet. I love that it rotates independently, is easy to install, and height adjustable. I also need a bigger mixer, several pans and ladles. If only these things come in cheap prices but durable and reliable materials.
Too Much Missed Movies
I am no movie buff and so is my husband. We can afford it for sure but it simply does not entice us that much to make it a habit. But you know, there are times when I am in the mood for watching what are currently showing in the cinemas. However, since I do not like to watch alone, and I have no one else to drag with me (my kids are young and most of what I wanted to see are not suitable for them), I end up missing these movies.
Movies I wished to see were:
- The Mistress
- No Other Woman
- Taken 2
- Step Up 3
- The Bourne Legacy
- UnOfficially Yours
Let’s Start October Right
It has been more than a week, I know, but my October is just starting. Thanks to all the bad luck that happened towards the end of September that extended to my first week of October.
There was the intermittent Internet connection. Well I thought it was intermittent only until all I get from my modem are two light, one steady, the other keeps on blinking. It was so frustrating that that is what I only get each time I turn on the AVR. My fingers got worn out already from dialing my provider’s customer service because I only get connected after, hmmmm, 30 minutes and up? Yeah, I patiently waited. In my mind, I was ranting and cursing the person who will take my call, but when I am talking to the person already, I am calm. Except in one incident, which is my fourth or fifth time to call already. Anyway, so much for this lost Internet connection hullabaloo. I prayed to God this afternoon when I chanced upon a connection to please fix it already. My prayer was granted! After an hour, the technicians came and after three hours, they fixed it for real! THANK YOU, LORD!
Another misfortune that I went through was a bad case of tummy flu. It happened from nowhere. My tummy was aching badly that I took a medicine I should not have taken at all. It gave me quick relief but in the end, it just prolonged my agony. The pain is on and off and I feel hungry all the time. But immediately after eating, I excrete what I took in. The medicine that I was prescribed seemed to be ineffective, well not until today. My tummy did not hurt the whole day even when I was not able to eat breakfast on time due to this and that. Hooray!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN, LORD!!!!
And I just know, after misfortunes, I will be reaping blessings! So cheers, OCTOBER, my birth month, WILL BE GREAT!!!! I have faith, it will be!
