And So I Turned 30

3 decades. I am blessed to be alive this long and to have what I have right now. It is not many, but I believe I have enough. Every other thing comes as bonus.

So how did I spend my birthday, you ask.

It was the week after exams and I was soooo thankful for that. After a very grueling week, finally, chillax naman. And so I thought.

M had fever two days prior to my birthday. Biglaan lang. After ko maging tutor and labandera, nurse naman ang peg ko. The work moms do. I am so amazed how we can do all those things and thankful at the same time because I am able to get pass it. On my birthday, there was an event at A’s school and I had to accompany her. I tagged along M, who was already fever-free that time, so we all can go to the doctor right after A’s school activity. So yeah, I spent the morning of my birthday with the girls, at school and at the doctor.

I did not want a grand celebration. All I wanted was to eat crabs and shrimps. Actually shrimps lang pala ang gusto ko at lobsters. Ayoko na ng crabs kasi mejo hassle na for me. (Nakakakain lang ng lobsters, split na with crabs. Hahaha). So after the hospital visit, the husband, kahit puyat, drove to the nearby market and bought shrimps and crabs. We cooked butter-ginger shrimps and sweet-chili crabs. There was pancit care of MIL and FIL. Then there was Blue Bunny Mint Bon-bon ice cream, which I had to put extra chocolate chip morsels kasi ang gusto ko talagang ice cream ay yung may nangunguya at nakakagat.

M kept asking about the cake. She wanted to blow a candle since that is what we do on birthdays right? I did not have a cake because we still have plenty of banana cupcakes in the freezer. But we were already lazy to prepare it. Until the other day, she was still asking about it. Hahaha!

I got tons of greetings over at FB. Thank you to all who remembered.

And then we were back to the regular grind the next day.

I am blessed and I pray that I can keep on sharing the blessings I have.

An Overview of the Home Loan Industry

Since the housing market crash occurred, there have been many changes to the home loan industry. New rules and regulations have been placed into effect that monitor lending practices to ensure new borrowers are not subjected to predatory lending practices. Many of these regulations have led consumers to believe that they no longer qualify for mortgages. This is a misconception. There are many banks and private lending institutions in full cooperation with these new regulations that are willing to work with potential home buyers regardless of their credit standing or down payment amount. Working with a professional home loan company is their best option for finding the right mortgage to fit their situation.

While there are many home loan companies that come to mind, one of the promising businesses to keep an eye on is Embrace Home Loans. Who is Embrace Home Loans? This company is an industry leader with over 30 years of experience working with borrowers to find a mortgage tailored to their specific needs. The services offered by home loan companies are not limited to first-time home purchases. Most of these services also offer refinancing options and debt consolidation mortgages. They are able to address your needs and find an appropriate mortgage.

Consumers do not have to worry about all the new regulations and requirements placed on lenders since the market crash. Most of these regulations deal with the internal working and structures of these companies and not directly with the consumer. The regulations that do apply to the consumers only ensure that you are receiving a loan you fully understand the terms of and that meets your needs. Working with a lending company that is not restricted to one lender or one type of loan product will always be in the best interest of the borrower.

Coming Back

Ahoy! Ola! Bonjour!

I really do not know how to start this post. Or how to start posting again. I miss blogging and writing (though not my strongest point) but I feel so lost. I do not know where to start.

But I will not give up.

And if you are reading this, thank you for not giving up on this blog.

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
