Filipino Bloggers Network 2017 Year-end Get Together

Now on its fifth year, the annual Get-Together & Christmas party of the Filipino Bloggers Network (FBN) has become bigger and brighter with more sponsors and partners giving their support to one of the most active blogger group in the country today. I’m actually very excited to attend because who am I kidding, this is the first bloggers Christmas party that I am attending!

Salu, a popular Filipino restaurant in Quezon City, will be hosting this year’s gathering of bloggers and online influencers on December 12. Another co-main sponsor is SvelT’i, a skin clinic that provides advanced health and beauty services using state of the art technology.

FBN members anticipate the yearly gathering as an opportunity to make new friends and catch up with old pals they have not seen for a while. Representatives of different PR groups and brands will also grace the event to personally thank members of the online community who have supported them in the past years.

FBN currently has almost 2,000 members and continue to expand as it provides a venue for Pinoy bloggers from around the Philippines to interact with other members from different part of the country. Moderating the discussions and posting opportunities from different brands for the group are co-admins Divine RC and Richard Mamuyac. With the support of MetroBuzz led by its admin Lariza Garcia, expect the annual event to be even more fun-filled and exciting in the years to come.

This year’s celebration was supported by the following generous sponsors:

Have a Happy Holidays with SvelT’i

It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. From frenzied last-minute shopping sprees to multiple Christmas parties, we really can’t deny that the holidays are just around the corner. But, despite all the infectious merriment that the holidays bring, we also cannot deny the fact that all the stress the holiday season brings can absolutely take a toll on your skin with all the late-night partying, non-stop eating, and mad traffic we all have to deal with. So how do we deal with these skin SOS and still be as glowing and youthful during the holidays?

ALWAYS KEEP HYDRATED

The holidays are the perfect excuse to indulge in booze and stay late at night especially with all the Christmas get-togethers you need to attend. But keep in mind that too much alcohol and less sleep can take a toll on the appearance of your skin. “Skin care addresses two concerns: wellness and aesthetics or our sense of being attractive, that’s why we do have to take care of our skin and not take it for granted most especially during the holidays which can be really stressful,” emphasizes Dr. Lalaine Salazar, Medical Director of the SvelT’i Health and Beauty Centre in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Drinking lots of water can help keep your skin hydrated but there are also other ways of doing so.

PURIFY AND NOURISH

No matter how late you come home from a night of drinking and partying, never forget to rid your face first off all the make-up you wore and end your day with nourishing your skin. The thorough cleansing and washing away of make-up before sleeping is also an important part of skin care. To cap the skin care regimen, Dr.Salazar recommends a cleanser that can prevent the onset of pores, blemishes, and acne; it will also improve skin tone and heal any skin inflammation.

After washing your face to get all the make-up gunk off, apply a proper facial serum that provides anti-aging effects accelerated by the climate, stress, and even genetics. “It makes you look youthful and energetic. Our stem cell ampoule also reduces the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles, improves the skin tone, and softens the skin as well.” Says Dr.Salazar. [Read more…]

PROACTIV Proven Treatment for Acne

Dealing with acne has never been easy, I’ve seen it with my younger sister. Whether you are in your teens, or way into your adult years, having those painful, swollen and irritating bumps on the face easily spells bad news. Acne greatly affects one’s self esteem. It is difficult to feel confident and beautiful if you are troubled by acne.

Proper skincare is the key to having smooth skin. When pimples appear, it is always best to treat it with the right formulations so that it disappears immediately. My sister tried a lot of products but she kept having breakouts.

The good news is that Proactiv, the No. 1 Acne brand in the US, is within reach in Philippines. Known for its gentle yet most effective acne treatment system, the Proactiv kit consists of complete solutions that cleanses, tones, repairs and treats problematic spots while preventing new pimples and acne from forming and gently heal damaged skin.

The First skincare system to manage acne breakouts as it smoothens the skin, Proactiv not only heals, and treats, it also clears the skin from acne blemishes, removing all signs of breakouts while bringing back your radiant healthy skin. I saw how effective it is for my sister.

Clearly, there are no short cuts for healthy looking skin. One must religiously follow the recommended routine for best results. Proactiv has a 30-Day and 60-Day kit system to make it easier for users to develop a healthy skincare habit.

The Proactiv 30-day is sold at Php 2,495 while the 60-day is sold at Php 3,995. Visit Watson’s and SM department stores nationwide and start your beautiful skin routine now.
