Preventing Dengue Fever

My eldest was diagnosed with Stage 1 Dengue Fever last May. All along I thought we are immune for this kind of sickness but when my daughter was hospitalized, I realized that nobody is. Everyone is a delicious target of dengue-carrying mosquitoes. After that incident, I make sure none in my family will ever again be hospitalized due to Dengue Fever,

prevent dengueHere is what we do.

  1. Keep our surroundings clean. No stagnant water should ever be found in the house and near us.
  2. No more hanging or wet clothes in the bathroom. I noticed that when I remove hanged clothes in the bathroom, a mosquito or two will fly around. They like hiding in these stuff so we removed them already.
  3. Spray the whole house with mosquito killer once every week, when the kids are not around. We do this when all of us are going out so we will not smell the odor of the mosquito spray.
  4. Regular fumigation was also organized by the village association.
  5. Kids cannot go out without applying mosquito repellent. Also, they only go out in their pyjamas, no shorts when playing outside.
  6. I give them vitamins regularly to boost their immune system.

Don’t let you or one of your love ones become a victim of these dengue-carrying mosquitoes.

Longchamp Fad

longchamp toteYou see people side by side each other carrying the same brand of bag – Longchamp – but in different colors and designs. My sister owns one in tangerine. She bought it from a groupon site and was her Christmas gift to herself last year. It was supposed to be teal but the groupon site made a mistake. Returning the item was such a hassle so she stick with the color she got.

Anyway. So I see lots of people carrying this type of bag. And honestly, I do not see the difference between the original ones and those inspired by the originals. The original one costs about $150-200 while the latter may be bought at less than $20. My sister bought her at 50% discount from the groupon site and up until now, I wonder how could that be possible. Either this bag is really over-priced in the market or the groupon site sold the inspired-version not the original.

I simply want to say that I do not get why people got so into this tote. I heard some collected all the colors available. Why? Even if I have the money, I do not like this bag because it lacks form for me. Everything just goes to the bottom. And its material, it is simply nylon, what is so special with that? Plus you see it almost everywhere!

Maybe it is just me. How about you, what is your take about Longchamp totes?

Where Did These Cookies Came From?

I have been playing Cookie Dozer for weeks now and my cookie regeneration limit is now 56 from 50. I was really shocked when I saw how many cookies I have when I opened my game today. I have 104 cookies! Where did they came from? And where are my sugars?

Then I found out that Alex, my eldest child, sold the treats that she does not like. Clever kid.

In another mobile phone, I also have Cookie Dozer. I am now at level 33. This time, Alex cannot play with this game, unless I am beside her.
