Collection Cosmetics Loot

collection cosmetics

Last week, I had the privilege to go out. The first time, I picked up our new house helpers at the NAIA T3 airport via commute. Read: no taxi. I will post details for another post. On our way home, I bought my first Collection Cosmetics lasting lipstick in Sugar Plum (right).

The second chance was after we attended a birthday party last Saturday. Instead of allowing ourselves be stuck in heavy and long traffic due to the heavy rains, we headed to Trinoma, where the greenlight sale was happening. I was brainwashed that the Collection Cosmetics lasting lipstick in Mango Tango (left) suits me better than the first one I bought so it went to our basket. Then the 3-1 foundation concealer powder of Collection Cosmetics went in too because it was so hard to resist something that is very easy to use yet gives outstanding performance! Yeah, take that from me, who’s not so fond of putting too many stuff on my face.

I will try to make a face-of-the-day (FOTD) post for you to see what I mean.

Thanks to my dear hubby for buying these stuff for me.

Real or Unreal

I have been watching video online recently and I watched some that made me think about today’s singers and stage performers.

You see, I cannot sing. This is why I have high regards to people who can. If given a chance, I would definitely love to learn how to sing and to have the confidence to sing in front of a crowd. Anyway, this video that I watched is in a recording studio setting. Someone is recording and there is what you call a sound engineer who works on machines that fixes the voice of the one recording. The first one who is recording has a very terrible voice. After the sound engineer adjusted some buttons, the recording did great. The second one who recorded has very good voice and singing capability and the sound engineer did not have to do anything. I do not know what those machines are or if they have similarities to rectified.

I was left in awe and in question. How many of today’s performers can really sing and who are those helped by voice tweaking machines?

What a Week!

We started the month without a house help. Our helper had to leave us immediately to take care of her old grandparents because no one else in their family can do it. Since both the hubby and I believe in family first, we had to let her go.

So last week, I did not ride with FIL to bring Alex to school everyday, he brought her to school himself. I did not even fetch her everyday, together with hubby and Max. There is just so much to do with just me.

When laziness attacks, I buy some time to snuggle back to bed. But in the afternoon, I do all the chores starting from the lunch dishes. My hands are all dry now because of all the washing I did for the week, even if I put lotion. 🙁 The pms made things harder because kids are kids and I am helper-less. Apart from the chores, I look after them. I still feel terrible that the television had to be their companion during the times I am doing the chores.

Hopefully, this week will be better. With better time management, I known it will be. Help me please, God!

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
