The Sweetest Fandom Party Just Unwrapped Itself: Oreo Ice Cream Fans Gather for Iconic Party

Have you ever known an ice cream so iconic that it has its own fandom? Or better yet, have you ever loved something so much that there is only one thing that you can think of whenever you hear a particular word related to it?

For many of us ice cream lovers, there is one brand that often comes to mind whenever our sweet tooth craves a classic cookies and cream fix – Oreo Ice Cream! Regardless of age and generation, this icy dessert has fixed itself as one of our go-to favorites not only because of its classic flavor but also thanks to its constant reinvention that tickles the fancy of many dessert fanatics.

Proof of this is the Oreo Ice Cream for the Oreo Fans Day event held for its fans last November 26 in Antipolo City. The gathering put into spotlight the beloved ice cream flavor and saw the launch of its newest variant, the Oreo Ice Cream Stick.

Oreo Ice Cream continues to cater to the many tastes and preferences of its fans with its other types like the classic ice cream cones, tubs, sandwiches, and pints. During the event, fans got the chance to enjoy all of these from the fully decked Oreo Ice Cream Fridge that served as the perfect centerpiece for the gathering.

To showcase the versatility of this ice cream flavor, there was also an ice cream bar where guests had the chance to enjoy their ice cream with a twist. Different Oreo Ice Cream mocktails such as Oreo Ice Cream Affogato, Oreo Ice Cream Frappe Sandwich, and Oreo Ice Cream Matcha Milkshake were served, showing that no matter what you are looking for in a dessert, there is always a cookies and cream twist to it that you can enjoy.

Drag Queen Taylor Sheesh opened the night with a performance that unleashed the inner Swifties of everyone, while VIVA artists Ethan David, Keagan de Jesus, and Deny livened up the crowd, adding a sweet vibe to the event.

A product of Froneri, Oreo Ice Cream has become the benchmark for cookies and cream across generations when it comes to iced treats. The brand continues to elevate its status as a household name in the world of desserts by constantly innovating and creating new variants that its old and new fans can enjoy.

Nowadays, it continues to remain faithful to its promise to its fans to always bring the gold standard of cookies and cream experience to the market. As Mr. Eid Escaño, brand manager of Froneri Philippines shares, “When you think of cookies and cream ice cream, you do not think of any other brand. What immediately comes to mind is, ‘Oh, that’s Oreo Ice Cream.”

He adds, “Froneri PH is really excited to launch this event because this is the first that we are holding for our brands. We thought that having an Oreo Fans Day is the perfect first for us because we know just how loved this product is in our market.”

The Oreo Fans Day was the perfect culmination of a year filled with iconic moments for Oreo Ice Cream Fans. The ice cream first became actively present in social media among Oreo fans this year through an iconic dance challenge, followed by an OOTD and a foodie one. All these highlights show that the ice cream has not only cemented its iconic status, it continues to also connect with its loyal and new fans.

Oreo Ice Cream is available in all leading supermarkets and groceries nationwide. Do not forget to try its newest ice cream stick on your next dessert fix!

Puerto Princesa: Cruising to be a Top MICE Enclave

The after-effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic which crippled the tourism industry can still be felt in the Philippines. However, Puerto Princesa, the “Heart of the Best Island in the World,” harnesses its vast potential not only as a destination of choice but also as a preferred center of MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, and events) to forge ahead and move forward.

Paradise in Profile

Puerto Princesa is the center of trade and commerce, education, communications, and public administration of Palawan. Its strategic location is within the growth corridor of the BIMP East ASEAN Growth Area.

Known for its UNESCO World Heritage site Underground River, it shares 50 percent of the tourist arrivals in Palawan and in the region, making it the biggest contributor to its economic growth. In 2020, Palawan logged a partial number of 157,051 tourist arrivals, 71,889 of which were visits to PPC.

A tropical paradise with a bustling urban center perfect for business-with-leisure trips, PP is blessed with lush rainforests and white-sand beaches hours away from the city proper, where a banking and commercial boom has made life easier for workaholics and busybodies.

Puerto Princesa is a relatively young settlement, having been established as a city only in 1970. The first settlers arrived on March 4, 1872; a date celebrated every year as the foundation day of the city.

As part of the Philippines’ last frontier, the city is rich in natural resources. It is the country’s largest city with a land area of 253,982 hectares. A chain of mountain ranges runs through the entire length of the city, dividing it into two distinct areas – the East Coast and the West Coast.

A significant portion of the city retains its indigenous vegetation, rainforest, mangroves, and coastal ecosystem, all of which support an amazing array of wildlife. In terms of species biodiversity and its wide range of ecosystems, Puerto Princesa is of national significance. The famous and must-visit Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, which was formerly known as Saint Paul’s Subterranean River National Park, covering a protected area of 22,202 hectares is a haven to endemic flora and fauna. UNESCO has inscribed the park as a World’s Heritage Site on December 4, 1999.
