DIY Alphabet Tracing Worksheet

When M turned 4, I refused to enroll her in a school. My reason – I do not want her to be stressed with heavy school work at such an early stage in life. We enrolled Ate A in a traditional school when she was only 2.8yo because she does not have other children to mingle with at home, thus she acted like an adult. When school year was over, she didn’t want to be enrolled the following academic year. Napapagod daw siya.

Kids are kids only once and I wanted M to discover herself freely without the confines of classrooms. So I home-schooled her.

Nakakaloka! Hindi ko inakala na napakahirap mag homeschool. Sabi ko pa nung una, ano lang naman aaralin nila sa school – alphabet, counting, shapes, colors. I’m sure kayang-kaya ko ituro mga iyon. Kinaya ko naman. The experience I must say was both fun and stressful! The writing part if the stressful one.

Here, I am sharing with you the alphabet tracing material I created back then. Based on our experience, children use the uppercase alphabet in Nursery and Kindergarten. I hope you find this helpful.

The material is free to download and can be distributed for free. Please do not make profit out of it.

Good luck to teaching your kid how to write!
