Rain, Will You Stop, Please?

It has been raining continuously and there is no sign that it will soon stop. I planned to run again this afternoon, after my failed attempt last night, to soothe my aching legs. I was able to run 1.5KM, half of my target, in 10 minutes. After the stint, something in my nose does not feel right and my nape kind of hurts. I knew I had to stop and rest. But friends say that is normal for first times and so I am determined to run again today. I remember the first time I did metafit, my body was aching the whole day. I did another routine the next day and I was able to do it despite all the aching body parts. After several days of doing the intense exercise, my body was able to adjust. I know that will happen with this running too.

But this rain keeps on pouring. Boohoo.

I hope it stops already. Friends will run tomorrow for Run United 3 and the kids may get sick if they run in the rain. And those in low areas may get flooded again.

On second thought, running in the rain sounds fun. But no, I am not up for it now.

Running in marathons seem to be the craze nowadays. I’m planning to sign up my nephew in the Milo marathon. He’s very excited about it.
