Still in Shock

Hello Ladies and Gents (I hope there who reads this blog)!

I will be in hiatus for a while. I cannot find my writing mojo as my whole being is still shocked with all the things that has happened.

Life is too short, indeed. Live life as much as you can. Avoid regrets as much as you can. And do things you can do NOW before the time runs out.

While I know these before, apparently, I do not practice them, not that much. Thus the shock when the mom of my college best friend, our wedding godmother, passed away last Thursday morning. We were just together last Saturday to Sunday midnight. We were afraid that Sunday traffic will caught us so we left very early that Sunday without meeting ninang and ninong. Little did we know, that is the last time we will ever chat with ninang. I regret that we left early. I regret that we did not say we’re going home properly. I regret that for the many times we planned to bring our kids to them, that was the only time we succeeded.

I feel bad. Sorry, ninang.

Sorry about this, Nicquee. I pray that you regain peace. Perhaps your Ninang won’t take it against you. Neither would she want to see you brooding and regretting about it. She loves you for sure.

I hope you feel better soon. *Hug*

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
