Celebrities and Self Enhancements

There is this one episode in a local television show that I cannot forget. It is a show hosted by Kris Aquino.

In this episode, comedy queen, Ai Ai de las Alas and Mauie Taylor are guests. I cannot remember exactly what the topic was. But this short segment really stuck to me. Mauie was asked if she has breast implants which she vehemently denied. Her upper looks really great, size and shape wise. That is why I cannot blame people, men and women alike, from noticing her “gift”. But Kris is not convinced. And so, before they took a break, she asked both guests to lie down on the sofa briefly so the audience can see what happens to their chest area. Can you guess what happened?

Personally, I have no issues with people undergoing the knife for self improvement like this one, specially if they really have the resources to pay for it. And since they use this asset for them to become bankable stars, I am sure, they will not mind how much breast implants cost today. I just do not get it why they have to deny it. Maybe because it will affect their way to stardom? I do not really know.

i’m thinking maybe, those celebrities wouldn’t want to be branded as “fake” (sorry for the word),
that’s why they are left with the choice of denying their enhancements
