Confessions of a Voucher Addict

discount logo I cannot remember how it started, who introduced them to me nor how I learned about them. All I can remember is that everyday, before I start my routine at work, I check my personal emails. Before, I only check to see if I have any important emails. But when I got acquainted with these sites, I found myself opening each subscription email that contains net voucher codes to see if there is anything that I really want to avail or if there is anything that I think my siblings will fancy. Yes, I dragged other people to my brewing addiction.

I got addicted to coupons and vouchers. It seemed that everything I see on the emails is something that I need and I have to buy it pronto so I can avail of the discount. My mind got so engrossed with the word discount, specially to the things I would not buy if I have to pay for the whole price. But that mindset almost got me bankrupt. I kept on buying deals, thinking of the savings I will get. I forgot that I will still have to pay for the price of the deal and it is not free. There were months when I will buy about three vouchers and all my supposedly savings will just to the credit card bill. I have no debt but I have no savings either because I bought so many vouchers.

I am happy though that with the use of vouchers, I was able to do and buy things at the price I am willing to spend on them. We stayed in hotels, went out-of-town, dined at posh places, bought expensive things, and even beautify ourselves. There is one thing that I have been checking for a while now, but I only see it at coupon codes, USA. I will not reveal it to you, guess if you like.

My voucher addiction is far from over but this time around, I have learned to prioritize. When there is no budget, I must work harder so I can avail of that coupon.
