On Ledet’s Elimination

I did not see the performances last week, thanks to Alex, who kept the remote control under her pillows. I saw the announcements though (on television and on Facebook), on who got eliminated. And yes, until now, I cannot move on, I cannot accept that Joshua got voted out.

Before the performances that week when Hollie got eliminated, I wanted Philip to go. But I was impressed with his rendition of Volcano and the other song he performed. I knew Hollie will be voted out. Then last week, many said Joshua did not perform very well. I was really hoping the it will be him and Jessica in the finals. Nevertheless, I know, he will have a good singing career.

Now, Jessica has to choose her songs carefully and so does Philip. I just pray that America will vote wisely, and not just go for the looks or the nationality (as Jessica is not pure American). If Philip wins, he will be another guitar-playing guy. If Jessica wins, I think she will be a great RnB singer. May the force be with her.

For now, I must move on from Joshua’s elimination. He had great performances but too bad, last week was not one of them. Maybe I will just browse Jo Dee Messina photos and immerse myself with some country music to forget that he is out of the AI competition.

I would have preferred Jessica and Joshua in the finale.

Ledet set a record for standing ovations from the judges this season on “Idol”; barely a week went by when he didn’t get the judges on their feet after one of his stellar performances.

We have our own bets , yes aside from Jessica our own pride 😉 I love that guy who did got eliminated but Philip is good too, more like archuleta , a guitar guythat made him not that unique.
