The little angel’s tummy acted up again. She would throw up and refuses to stay in one place while she does her thing. We ended up having vomit here and there in our living room. Then a few minutes after feeding, she would poop. The seedy and watery kind. So I thought she might be teething because she also had a low-grade fever this morning. But she started throwing up this early evening. And poop one after the other.
No food intake, no milk too, just water. But I was unable not to give her some prunes. So she had some prunes for dinner.
It was very hard putting her to sleep because she is used to being breastfed to sleep. She was crying and begging but I cannot give into. It was a heart-breaking scene.
And the other angel also wants her mommy make her milk and tap her to sleep. She doesn’t want anyone else. What is this mom to do? I did her request and let the little angel follow me while giving out little sobs. Thankfully she slept just after a few minutes of tapping.
Back to the little angel. It was hard not to give her milk but I have to resist. We played a little with my mobile phone where she was so fascinated with the lights. She giggled as if she is feeling 100% ok. Then she asked me to scratch her back and underarm. And then she is asleep.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer for patience and strength. Tomorrow is another day.
It breaks my heart whenever I see a sick child. Thank God my nephew seldom gets sick and when he does we take him asap to his pedia.
It is really no joke when some malady happens to kids. 🙁 I hope she gets well sooner than later and that it will not happen again.
stomach flu is common to children , there are many possible ways of treating this is to let her drink boiled water or treat with iodine tablets. If the flu don’t get away try consulting it to a Doctor. Hope she get well soon.
I hope she’s better now. It’s really heartbreaking for us moms to see our kids suffer.
It’s always a hard time when the kids are sick. Hugs, sis! Hope your baby feels better now.
