Caring for Sick Children

It has been four days since my last post. I know, I have been missing in action. How are you doing? Well, I think you can already tell by this post’s title what I have been doing since the last time I told you I was PMS-ing, huh?

Early last week, Alex, my eldest, was already showing signs of colds. She could have gotten it from school or it can be due to our weird weather. I did not worry much as soon as I saw the signs because she is a big girl now and can easily tell us what is wrong with her.

After almost two weeks of medication due to her Amoebiasis, Maxyn took a break for just a week and is sick again with colds, cough and fever. I feel really bad for her. I feel that her body is full of chemicals already due to these medicines. But there is nothing we can do even if the mere sight of medicine makes her cry, we have to give them to her or else, she will keep on nursing the viruses she has.

You ask about me? Well other than PMS-ing and lack of sleep due to night-time care, I am fine. At least for now. How I wish I could simply take their sickness and have them for myself. At least in that way, I know what to do with myself. Oh, since I lack sleep, I am starting to get breakouts! I am so not used to it because I really have smooth skin (only my pores kinda show). Thankfully I found this acne light treatment online, I now know what to do. And I am sharing it to my sisters who are prone to breakouts too due to lack of sleep.

I really pray that the girls will be back to their healthy selves soon. There is so much to do and I am not used to Maxyn not eating at all! She has lost a lot of weight already. As for Alex, she is slowly recovering.

one of my biggest fear is when Elijah’s sick. I feel very bad when he has cold/flu because I think I don’t take extra care of him. 🙁 Is Maxyn and Ayex taking vitamins? Hope they are feeling well already.

Get well soon to your babies. I had colds just last week. It’s probably because of the unpredictable weather.

Oh, I know how rough that can be. I went through the same ordeal mid of last year and last December. Mahirap talaga, wala halos tulog. I pray that you all get better soon. *hug*
