Test-driving Motorola Milestone

My LG GT505 conked out a few months ago. For some reasons, every time I close an application, the memory it used is not returned properly. Alex was unable to use any of the applications installed, specially the games. I can only do text and call. Even the camera function was not usable. So I was forced to reflash my phone. And after just a couple of months or so, the same problem is back. Disappointing, yes.

Then one morning, hubby gave me a paper bag of one of the telco companies here in our country. I opened it and saw a new mobile phone. But before I can open it, he said it is not mine. I can just borrow it. It is an android phone and I got so excited to use it.

It has been a month and I have updated the phone’s software by myself. Thanks to online tutorials. I have installed different applications as well. From anti-virus, to games, to email applications. When I am bored, I play games. Most of the games I installed makes me think and I like it. I also installed games for kids because I share the phone with Alex. I will blog about my favorite games in another post.

Also, I use this Motorola Milestone for browsing. I was so surprised that I can log into this site using that phone and blog from there. Hahaha! Other than that, I can also do Facebook and check my mails. But I only do those when I am connected through wifi since that does not have a sim card.

Since Alex has been using the phone more and more, sometimes I get worried that she might accidentally drop the phone, thus made me check for Motorola cell phone accessories. But I think this model is fairly new in our country and that cell phone case for it is still rare. The sales people I talked to does not even recognize the name! Am I lucky or what?

Hopefully in the coming months, I will be able to buy this baby some accessories. It is the least I can do for the one who lent it is us. Also, maybe I can do a review of it.

Cool! I want to have it them. I guess you are lucky and unlucky at the same time. Haha! Mama also have a cellphone before, not sure if it’s samsung. She was lucky because no one owns the same model, maybe she’s the first one to have it here in the country because it’s from UK. the downside was that no one can repair it because the parts are not available yet in the country. haha!
