A Mommy’s Dilemma

My eldest’ school sent a letter last week about the upcoming field trip. It will be a day tour around Manila. At first glance, I find it pricey but after doing my research, everything is just right. This is Ayex’s first, if ever. Another milestone for her and for us as parents. The thing is, the field trip will happen on a Friday. Hubby has work and I, I am Maxyn’s yaya.

I really want to accompany her. But what will I do with Maxyn? I cannot tag her along on the field trip because that would mean I have to look after two kids on the road by myself. I am not very confident either that our helper, together with my in-laws, will be able to take care of her during the whole time that we will be away even if I express breastmilk for her.

What will I do?

What did you do? I guess you can bring Maxyn with you so the two girls can enjoy. Tag along a cousin or friend who is willing to keep an eye on ayex.

That really is a big problem. I hope everything turned out well.

That would be difficult, but still as a mom or dad you need to set your priorities such as the happiness and learning of your kids. Actually you have a choice, it’s going with your child or not, make a way and you can do the right thing. All the problems would have a solution.

I also have that problem whenever I need to go out of the house. My son is already 5 years old, but I’m still not confident leaving him alone with his yaya. I usually call my Tatay (Justin’s lolo) to accompany the two of them at home while I’m out of the house.
