Pregnancy and Birth in the US

And just when I thought where I live is where most babies are born, I was wrong. I also thought that teenage pregnancy is very rampant in US but statistics show that most women give birth to their first born at the age of twenty five, which for me is alright. It is sad though that their infant mortality rate is quite high, most babies dies in their first year per 1000 live births. I wonder what is wrong? But the government spends a lot each year on pregnancy and giving birth. It could be the mothers or the government needs to do more. Insights like this is very helpful specially for government leaders so they know what to address in this area.

More and more women are getting pregnant at an older age. I think more women are career minded now.

I can relate to those women who chose to get pregnant at 25 and older. When I was younger, sabi ko talaga, dapat magka-anak ko kapag at least 25 and older na. Nangyari nga! I was 29 when I gave birth to my daughter! 🙂
