It is extended! Thanks, Mommy Rubz! I drafted this post but did not publish it because I was late. Anyway, here is another chance so let me not delay things any further.
I am Mommy Nicquee.
I am happily married to Daddy Mon for almost five years now. We are blessed with two lovely princesses, Ayex, 4yo and Maxyn, 9mo. During my pregnancy, all I read on was about breastfeeding because I really want to give the best milk out there for my kids. Gladly, I am blessed that I am able to breastfeed our girls despite working outside home. I breastfed Ayex until she was three and I am still nursing Maxyn now. Because of this blessing, it became my advocacy to help other moms who choose to breastfeed.
Apart from being a wife and mom, I am also a corporate slave. My primary role is to take care of tuning our internal search engine so that every customer query ends with a solution click. Sounds techie? Not really. But I do have a part of me who is very passionate about techie-things. No, I do not do programming. I just love tinkering around the Internet.
I have been blogging since 2004 but only learned to earn some from it recently. Blogging keeps me sane as I juggle my time being a mom, a wife, a corporate slave and a struggling super sister. Why a struggling super sister? Let me just say that I am still waiting for my siblings to mature more. And while they are in that journey, they need some guide who happens to be me. Blogging is also my way of keeping my social life alive even in a virtual place. My blogs are:
- Pop Ups of My Mind: http://nicquee.com – Personal/Mommy Blog
- Treat Your Palate: http://treatyourpalate.com – Food Blog (new)
- Testing My Luck: http://testingmyluck.blogspot.com – Contest Blog
If there is anything you want to ask me, just leave me some notes and I’ll answer them as much as I can.

That’s true, it’s actually one of the best things that you could give your child, your own milk. I’m visiting from WbFc9.

hi mommy, visiting from WBFC 9…
breastfeeding your children is so admirable. i tried with my two kids but i gave up instantly. iyak kase ng iyak. naawa ako so i gave the bottle agad para di magutom. nobody told me that a newborn can last three days with little or no milk at all. hay sayang talaga.
we have one thing in common. i have a sister who i still look after despite the fact she’s older than me.
well, that’s life.
will be visiting more often and following you now…
here’s my entry…

Hi Mommy Nic π its nice to read some facts about you. I envy you kasi nakapag breastfeed ka til your daughter turns 3. Breastfeeding is best for babies diba. Ako 4 months lang yata but Im thankful kasi never pa nagkasakit yung little girl ko who’s turning 3 this year.
Nice to meet you thru PMC and looking forward to see u in person someday.
xoxo

Hi Nicquee. I’m an old follower on GFC, thanks to previous WBFCs. It’s great that you were able to post this coz it’s nice getting to know the moms of PMB more.
I didn’t breastfeed my eldest, but I exclusively breastfed my daughter for 6 months, and still kept breastfeeding even when she was on solids. And I am a working mom too, so it was really a challenge! I’m sure you can relate. My Sophia is 3 now and occasionally we still breastfeed but I guess she is weaning na talaga.
So nice to know you! I hope you will enjoy knowing me too. I am #62 on this round of WBFC and my post can be found HERE
Followed you on GFC too!
Cheers!

Hi Nicquee, visiting back.
I remembered trying to wean my daughter at 1 year old. She was showing some signs of independence. But then… she was really too young. Now at 3 years old… weaned. But we cheat sometimes and sneak in a few moments of mommy-baby bonding time to BF.
This poem is something you can relate to⦠enjoy!.
