Infant Knee Protector

Maxyn at 9-months is now a. very fast crawler. I bought some big rubber playmats that we placed in our sala so she can crawl there. But like any other curious baby, she now wants to explore the whole place and crawls beyond the mats. We are worried that her knees will become dark due to frequent crawling or worse, she might get bruises. The same worries will be true once she starts learning how to walk.

Ate Meriam told me one time that the baby girl who is just two months ahead of Maxyn has knee pads. She requested that we also buy one for Maxyn to protect her delicate skin from scratches.

We were at Robinson’s Galleria last Saturday. We asked in the dapartment store’s baby section and even on the sports stores if they have infant knee pads but they don’t. Gladly, Nanay and Ate Meriam were at SM North Edsa where they were able to buy infant knee protector for Maxyn. They bought two pairs. That same night, Maxyn tried the green one and crawled endlessly until she reached our room from the sala. She also nearly reached the bath room!

When Max started crawling I saw those in SM but forgot to buy them din. So I always had her wear PJs na lang. ‘Til now I don’t let her wear dresses masyado kasi mahilig pa magrun and minsan nadadapa. Lagi sya naka pants and jeggings until she’s 3 siguro when I know stable na talaga sya magrun 🙂

Very timely reminder. I’ll have to get those knee protectors in about a month or two! How are you and your crew? 🙂

I think it’s nice to try those pads for our babies on the go.. lalo na kung tiles ang flooring. My lil girl never used pads though but im glad she never had bruises or knee discoloration.
