Charity

I have been lucky these previous two days because I am able to leave the office at 5:30PM. Since I leave early, I get home early too. I am able to have more playtime with the girls and catch some news too.

With the recent calamities that struck Japan, many people wanted to offer help. I am glad that our own company launched a company-wide donation program. The best parts are: the donations from PH-based employees can be coursed through salary deduction and that each peso will be matched three times. Great huh?

I have mixed feelings about Filipinos in Japan who want to come home here in the Philippines. A part of me thinks that they are just in panic mode and the other side feels that they are traumatized of the whole incident that is why they want to come home. But many of them say they do not have the resources to get a fly back here. If only airline companies will be more compassionate and have some seat sale if they cannot give free flights, I am sure many will find this a blessing.

In these times of great need, compassion and charity will surely make a big difference. I am proud to be doing my part. How about you, how do you show the world your love for mankind?

Hi there! I'm Nicquee and this is my little space in this world wide web. I'm a mom of two and is happily married. I started this blog as literally my online journal where I dump my emotions. Over the years, I realized that there is more to write about. Feel free to browse through and I hope you find a thing or two that is relatable to you. If that happens, give me a shout-out!
