I am talking about the 3 tickets for the Little Big Club Concert that Mommy Pehpot of Make or Break is giving away. The concert will happen at the Aliw Theather this coming December.
Anyway. If you have more than one kid, I’m sure you will be able to relate with this post.
When Maxyn came to our lives, almost all my attention got diverted to her. Unintentionally, I spent less time with Ayex. As we all know, that should not be the case because we are not helping our eldest child to adjust with the coming of a new sibling. I was very sensitive on this because I don’t want Ayex to feel neglected. I wanted to give her as much attention as I’m giving to Maxyn but I don’t know how to do it.
Then Playhouse Disney launched Angelina Ballerina. Being new, Ayex got attracted to it. And in the following days, Angelina Ballerina got included in her daily routine. She would sleep when told so and would wake up right before the show. I’m lucky because Maxyn sleeps at the time of the show. It gave me the opportunity to bond with Ayex by watching Angelina learn how to dance ballet together. As the days go by, I saw Angelina’s influence on Ayex. She tries to copy her moves and proudly shows it off to everyone in the family. That bonding time helped me help Ayex adjust to her little sister.
A few months have passed. Ayex is still adjusting on having a sibling but I know we are getting there. Barney, her first love is now a shared toy. Being the only child for some time made her very possessive and I’m glad that little by little, she has learned to share. Maxyn loves hearing Barney sing the I love you song.
I deserve to win the ticket because it would be one of the best bonding time I could ever have with my kids given that I am a working mom. With that concert, I hope that it will make up for the time I spend at work instead of playing with them. Ayex will surely be delighted to see Angelina live. She may even be more interested in taking up ballet when she sees her dance in person. As for Maxyn, while she can’t talk yet, I know she’ll have lots of gooo-goos and gaa-gaas when she hears Barney sing with BJ and Baby Bop live.
