Were you ever frustrated by the alphabet flashcards or books available in your bookstore because they were always A = apple, B = ball, and so on? I was.
I wanted several sets of flashcards so I can teach M as many words as possible. Having multiple sets of flashcards with different objects for one letter would be great as I can use it to teach M using different methods like in a play. But to my dismay, the flashcards have the same objects while they were published by different companies. So I took the matter in my own hands and created a full page of different objects that contains the beginning sound of each letter of the alphabet. Well, except the letter X, as the words that starts with it that is appropriate for a pre-schooler is very limited.
The work is kind of tedious as I opted for five to six images that says the beginning sound of each letter in the alphabet but the result is very nice. I am a happy home-schooling mom. I printed out each page on a letter size paper and placed them, back to back, in a clearbook. This is how it looks like.
What do you think?
You can also have your very own beginning sound alphabet book printed for your kids by downloading your free copy. Please do not distribute it for profit. Thank you. I hope this helps you teach your tots like it is helping me now.
All the images I used in this book are from Google Search. If you own any of these, please let me know so I can acknowledge you properly.
