Review: Chicco Shampoo

It was very timely that I won a gift pack from Richwell Club that contains Chicco products during the PMC 2nd Grand Eye Ball last November. Maxyn has consumed her soap and shampoo and it was time for me to open new ones.

kid shampooI got two shampoos, a big bottle and a small one. Since November, Maxyn has been using the large bottle of Chicco shampoo everyday.

What I like most about this shampoo are the following:

  • It has a mild scent that lasts very long.

Maxyn is one active baby girl. She loves the outdoors. As soon as she wakes up from her afternoon nap and is done with her snacks, she will give you her slippers, a signal that she is ready to go out. Despite spending hours outdoors, her head does not smell like sweat. The fragrance of the shampoo is still in her hair.

  • It is tear-free.

Maxyn is in her exploratory stage. Since then, whenever she sees bubbles, she tries to catch them and put them in her face, close to her mouth, nose and eyes. Sometimes, she accidentally put some bubbles in her eyes but she never cried.

  • It has a clear color and thick consistency.

The clear color of the shampoo kinds of give me the feeling that it has few chemicals as possible. As mom, don’t we all want our kids to be safe from harsh chemicals? As for the thick consistency, even if I only use a small amount, the lather is always enough for Maxyn’s hair, very economical to use.

I am not sure how much each bottle costs since I got ours for free. But if ever we ran out of it, I will sure buy this product again.

Intestinal Flu

Hello Everybody!

I know it is hump day already and it is almost weekend and I have not updated this blog. Well, we had a long weekend due to the Chinese New Year celebration, which translates to more family time, thus no lappy time for me.

Well we did not have all fun last weekend because my youngest has been throwing up after meals with soft/watery poop. Not only that, she does not pee much either! And she had high fever come Monday morning!

I texted our pediatrician before we had our long weekend about her pee and was told that it was ok. So we went with our weekend plans. Some failed and some succeeded. I will blog about that in another post. By Monday night she was already fever-free. But come Tuesday, she did not pee again for more than 8 hours! So we went to her pediatrician.

Early Lessons Have Lasting Impact

I am making this my new mantra when it comes to my children.

I am going through a tough time now but I need to be strong. I need to be strong or else, I do not want to imagine what will happen to my children.

I am praying for guidance. Help me, Lord, to straighten things even if I am already a bit late.
