The Week That Was

It has been more than a week since this site was updated. Pardon me. The endless raining brought about by the monsoon left me with two very active girls for the whole day for the whole of last week due to suspended classes. This momma was dead tired by night and so she slept when they did. 😀

Alex enjoyed the whole week of no school, although there were times when she said she missed her school and her friends. She busied herself with art work, running, story-telling, art work, running and so on. And since she is not accustomed to sleeping in the afternoon as this is the time is is in school, it was very hard to make her rest. For the whole week, she will just sleep for an hour in the afternoon.

Maxyn, is still herself, nothing changed. Well, since her big sister is around, she sort of demanded more attention since she is not used to her having around in the afternoon.

Since I was busy keeping the kids busy, I forgot to check Alex’s notebooks. I found out that pointers for exams was already pasted in her ntbk #1 last Friday. It was weekend already and I did not want to alter our routine so we did not study. That means, to this date, this mom will be busy making reviewers and tutoring the preschooler.

Hope you all are safe and sound.
