ATHENA – Milk for Women

I am a milk drinker. In fact, I take milk for snacks sometimes. Kaya weirdong-weirdo ako sa sarili ko why I experience joint pains, specially sa knees. I had my knees checked and my doctor told me it could be the footwear I always use. Then I thought, maybe the milk I am drinking lacks something.

Thankfully, I found ATHENA, the milk especially formulated to meet active women’s special nutritional needs, just like us moms.

Athena is

– High in Calcium, essential for optimum bone health. It is also a source of Vitamins D and K, Magnesium and Phosphorus – nutrients to help maintain strong bones.

– Low in Fat so you can enjoy this beverage without the risk of high caloric intake.

– Source of Anti-oxidants such as Vitamins A & E and Zinc to help maintain healthy skin and promote optimum immune function.

The icing on the top is that ATHENA is available in two delicious flavors: Milk and Chocolate. The MILK variant is available in two sizes: 180 grams for PhP130 and 400 grams for PhP273. On the other hand, the CHOCOLATE variant is available in 180 grams for PhP130. It is available online at www.athena.com.ph and in-store at Mercury Drugstore, Watsons, and Southstar.

Crave Healthy – Expectant Moms’ Go-to Snack

I remember during my two pregnancies, I always wake up in the middle of the night because of hunger. I have a can of crackers under our bed and that’s what I eat for snacks. I kind of feel guilty because I know I am not getting anything from the crackers except empty calories. But it is the middle of the night and crackers are convenient.

I’ve said this many times in the recent years and I will say it again, Ang sarap magbuntis at these times. Maternity wear are now fashionable, baby gears are abundant and easily sourced, more people promote breastfeeding and the list goes on. Pero ok na kami sa two girls namin for now.

Ito ang sana meron na noon pa para di ako nag tiyaga sa crackers when hunger strikes at night. A healthy way to satisfy hunger and food cravings of pregnant women in now possible with CRAVE HEALTHY.

crave healthy Crave Healthy is the first snack product in the Philippines that is specifically designed for the pregnant woman by doctors and nutritionists.

NOVUHAIR turns favor with Holiday bash promo

So you’ve got your festive outfit set and the fancy gift wrapped for your “monito” or “monita”. All that’s left undone is a party season-perfect hairstyle.

The fresh out of the shower look can be seductive yet temporary. Blame it to tropical climate, it can spoil your appearance, besides making you feel sweaty and stale. The heat and humidity brought about by extreme weather condition, likewise, dries out the locks easily and make it more fragile.

Adding damage to your delicate strands are the chemical contents of various products on hand. From shampoo to conditioner and hair treatment, down to styling goods to grooming it to your liking, their harsh synthetic materials jeopardize the natural oil and luster of your mane.

Because you are what you eat, the fate of your crowning glory is in the plate. Your diet must have the correct balance of vitamins and minerals to supply your hair with all that it needs to become shiny and strong. So do not overindulge, especially this time of the year when gastronomic feasts are spread almost everywhere you go. Be careful on what you take in, thinking that it’s also what you feed your ‘do.
